Symposium on Prevention of Tumor Recurrence and Metastasis after Interventional Therapy Held in Tianjin
On March 28, 2015, on the occasion of the 6th China Cancer Interventional and Minimally Invasive Treatment Conference, the "Symposium on Prevention of Recurrence and Metastasis after Tumor Interventional Treatment" sponsored by our company was also successfully held in Tianjin. More than 200 experts and scholars from the field of interventional therapy across the country gathered together to discuss the new progress and new experience in interventional therapy, and at the same time conducted in-depth exchanges on Huaier Granules combined with interventional therapy for tumors and clinical manifestations. The meeting was co-chaired by Professor Feng Gan-sheng of Union Hospital affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Professor Zheng Jiasheng of Beijing You'an Hospital. Professor Zheng Chuansheng from the Union Hospital affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology shared the "Research on the Application Mechanism of Huaierqing Ointment in Interventional Therapy of Liver Cancer". The results show that Huaierqing Ointment has a therapeutic effect on liver cancer and increases the efficacy of TACE. Professor Zhang yuewei from Zhongshan hospital affiliated to Dalian university made an exchange on "preliminary discussion on the best mode of huaier particles in the treatment of liver cancer by microparticle-TACE". the experience obtained is that the antiviral treatment effect of huaier particles, the enhancement of immune function, the inhibition of tumor angiogenesis, the elimination of tumor cell stem cells and the treatment of liver cancer with 350-560μm microparticle-TACE are helpful to improve the medium-long-term curative effect of liver cancer patients.
Prof. Feng Gan-sheng, chairman of the conference, concluded with a summary. At present, Huaier Granule has made a lot of in-depth research on the basic aspects, and has obtained many encouraging conclusions. Moreover, it has initially achieved good performance in the clinical application of combined interventional therapy for tumors. It is recommended that clinical doctors make more observations and summaries in the first-line application. It is also hoped that there will be a multi-center large sample study to draw authoritative and affirmative conclusions, and finally the treatment plan of Huaier Granule combined interventional therapy will be written into various clinical guidelines, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the seminar platform provided by our company.
