Huaier granule multi-center large sample liver cancer research results grand release!
On December 2, 2016, the seventh academic seminar of the China Branch of the International Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Association and the second academic thought seminar of Qiu Fazu opened in Wuhan International Conference Center. The meeting invited Academician Wu Mengchao, former Vice Minister of Health Professor Huang Jiefu, Academician Zhao Yupei, Academician Liu Yunyi, Academician Chen Zhaolong, former Chairman of the American Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Association Professor William Chapman, current Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Association Professor NorihiroKokudo Choi, and some famous domestic and foreign hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery experts more than 2,000.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Zhang Zhiwei released the results of 1080 large sample prospective clinical studies involving 39 centers with Academician Chen Xiaoping as the main investigator. Studies have shown that Huaier Granule can effectively prevent the recurrence and metastasis of liver cancer after radical resection, significantly improve the survival rate of liver cancer after radical resection and has good safety. This is an important achievement in the field of liver cancer treatment, and ends the long-term dilemma of no effective drugs to prevent recurrence and metastasis of liver cancer after surgery. The research results of Huaier particles will also bring good news to the majority of clinicians and many patients.
