Special Report on the Research Results of Huaier Granules at the Seventh Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Conference in Guangdong Province
On August 19, 2017, sponsored by the Guangdong Medical Association, undertaken by the Guangdong Provincial Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Branch, and co-organized by the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, the 7th Academic Conference of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery of the Guangdong Medical Association was held in Guangzhou Baiyun Wanda Hilton Hotel ", the meeting was unprecedented, with 1800 participants. Professor Peng Baogang, chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Branch, served as the chairman of the conference, and Professor Xia Jintang, a hepatobiliary surgery department of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, served as the executive chairman of the conference. The conference invited more than 70 famous hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery experts from Japan, Hong Kong and inside and outside the province to give lectures and academic exchanges.
At the meeting, Professor Shinai Tanaka from the Medical Department of Tokai University in Japan shared with us the report "Research on the Molecular Mechanism of Huaier Granules in Anti-tumor Effect". The research shows that Huaier can restore the transcriptional imbalance of Hippo signaling pathway to regulate cell fate, that is, Huaier can repair damaged cells and reverse them into normal cells, which is the so-called rejuvenation. Professor Zhang Zhiwei, deputy director of the Liver Surgery Center of Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, gave a lecture on the topic of "Huaier Granule for Preventing Recurrence and Metastasis after Radical Resection of Liver Cancer Center, Randomized, Parallel Controlled Clinical Study", detailing the basic research and mechanism of Huaier Granule, as well as the multi-center research conclusions: 1. Huaier Granule can effectively prevent recurrence and metastasis after radical resection of liver cancer; 2. Huaier Granule can significantly improve the survival rate after radical resection of liver cancer; 3. Huaier Granule has good safety for patients after radical resection of liver cancer.
The latest research results of Huaier granules in the field of liver cancer and the breakthrough research results in the mechanism of anti-tumor effect were strongly echoed and fully affirmed by the majority of participants at the conference. I sincerely hope that more doctors can deeply understand the role of Huaier granules and enable more patients to get the benefits brought by Huaier as soon as possible.
